Dog Walking

A well exercised dog feels less stress, exhibit fewer signs of separation anxiety, and has a healthier social temperament. A walked dog is a happy dog!

• 15 Minute Express Walk –$15.00 per walk
• 30 Minute Standard Walk –$20.00 per walk
• 45 minute Extended Walk –$25.00 per walk

• Want a longer walk than an hour? Or does a walk not quite cut it and your dog needs a good run or maybe even a bike ride? That can be arranged! We can tailor a program that suits your dogs’ individual needs. Please contact us for a consultation and quote.

*Walking service includes travel to your home and walking within your neighborhood. Additional family pets from the same household can be included in a walk at no additional charge.

**If your pup has a favorite hiking spot within your neighborhood, a super walk could include travel to/from your favorite park or trail within a specified distance.

***Walking services are on-leash only. A possible exception would be the super walk after analysis of dog’s recall and based on accessible walking options within your neighborhood.

Group Walks

• Is your dog a social butterfly? Do they look for something a little more physically challenging out of their daily walks? We have something for those socially and physically motivated dogs!One group walk offered daily in the morning, Monday to Friday
  • 60-90 minute Group Walk – $25.00 for one dog / $18.00 for the 2nd dogfrom the same household

  **Group walking service includes pick up and drop off at your home. Length of service varies depending on trail location chosen that day and home location of other pack members.

Weekend Adventure Hikes

Adventure Hikes offer longer, more physically demanding off-leash exercise and socialization for dogs who need or want it along the trails of the beautiful Okanagan Valley. Unlike individual Dog Walking or Running, Adventure Hikes are pack outings, so your dog has the opportunity to socialize with other dogs in a fun, focused environment.

• Half-day,–$38.00 for one dog / $28.00 for the 2nd dog from the same household

To be considered for Group Walks and Adventure Hikes, all dogs must have:

• Current Rabies, Distemper and Bordatella vaccines
• Regular, ongoing flea and tick care
• A flat collar with current name/license/rabies tags
• A 6 foot non-extendable leash

**Adventure Hikes are available Saturday or Sunday mornings between 8 and Noon, they are not guaranteed as they require a minimum number of dogs to go on an adventure.

House Visits

House visits are great for senior dogs who can’t hold it as long as they used to, or puppies that are still being house broken. At Kane9 we are the potty professionals; we will make sure your new bundle of puppy love gets the potty training (and the bladder relief) they need.

• 15 Minute Express Visit, – $15.00 per visit, yard time only
• 30 Minute Standard Visit –$20.00 per visit, can include short walk if desired

** Visits can be scheduled multiple times per day, depending on your pet’s specific needs. Potty break service includes travel to your home and walking within your neighborhood. Additional family pets from the same household are no additional charge.

Pet & House Sitting

Kane9 offers professional Overnight Pet / House Sitting for those pets who prefer to have a frequent human presence to cuddle with. Pets are happiest when they’re in their own home. With our Overnight Pet Sitting Service, your pets can stay in their own environment even when you can’t be there.  You can feel secure knowing that your home is taken care of in addition to your pet.

Packages:

• 3^rd Tier:$60.00 per night – This service is modeled after a typical 8-5 work day schedule. Your pets will have a max 8-9 hours alone during the day, then companionship in the evening, and overnight
• 2^nd Tier:$75.00 per night All services- offered in a 3^rd Tier package, plus a 30-minute midday walk / visit. With this option, your pets won’t be without a friend for more than 5-6 hours.
• 1st Tier:$90.00 per night – All services offered in a 3^rd Tier package, plus two additional 30-minute midday walks / visits. With this option, your pets won’t be without a friend for more than 3-4 hours.

Drop Ins

• Express Drop-in Visit*(15 minutes) – $15.00
• Standard Drop-in Visit(30 minutes) – $20.00
• Extended Drop-in Visit(45 minutes) – $25.00
• Super Drop-in Visit(a full hour) – $30.00
• Does your household contain an entire zoo and needs longer than an hour? That can be arranged! Please contact us for consultation and quote.

**Our minimum standard of care requires 2 drop-in visits for dogs or 1 drop in visit for cats and other small animals in tanks/cages per 24 hours. We’re happy to discuss a plan that works for both your vacation and your budget.

Overnight packages include, at a minimum, the following care:

• Evening pet care routine (dinner and walking),
• Midday walks as determined by service tier,
• Overnight stay (check-in by 10 pm),
• Morning pet care routine (breakfast and walking),
• Medication administration,
• Cleaning / tidying up of pet areas,
• Home-related care, like collecting newspapers, mail and packages, watering your indoor / outdoor plants and gardens, alternating lights and blinds, putting out trash,
• Any other reasonable pet or home care—we personalize every visit to accommodate you and your pets needs!

Pet Boarding

While we truly believe the best place for pets is in their own home, we understand that it isn’t a one size fits all solution for everyone. For those who are more comfortable with their pets going into 24-hour care within a loving, active family environment, we are happy to offer a boarding service within our home on a select basis.  Please contact us for rates and availability.

Farm Care

Farms are constant work, we get it. And we know how hard it can be to get away from a farm because of the constant work. Fear not, at Kane9 we love to go down to the farm. We handle feedings, water changes, mucking stalls, injury checks and more.

• 30 Minute Standard Visit –$30.00 per visit
• 45 minute Extended Visit –$35.00 per visit
• 60 minute Super Visit –$40.00 per visit

• 15 Minute yard clean up – $15. Have an extra large yard, and/or multiple pets? Extra $5 for every additional 15 minutes.
